Responsibility

  • to work in accordance with Company operating procedures and Health and Safety standards
  • preparation of substrates to be coated, and accurate mixing of hazardous coating solutions
  • apply coatings using both manual & automated spraying techniques
  • loading, unloading and safe handling of parts and assemblies. This will include some heavy lifting
  • assemble and apply both manual and hard masking to customer components
  • implement packaging solutions in line with customer requirements
  • participate in day-to-day manufacturing activities at shop floor level and ensure that the quality standards are maintained to the highest level acceptable by our customers
  • carry out detailed inspections and record in accordance with procedures

Requirements

  • experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
  • able to follow written and verbal technical instructions and keep accurate records
  • good organisation skills
  • good understanding of the manufacturing process and best practice
  • ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
