Responsibility

  • work with the Operations Director and management team to launch the Fire & Security division throughout the South of England
  • recruit, develop and manage an engineering team, as needed, operating a 24 hour call out service
  • support the Helpdesk team should difficulties arise with customers/engineers and/or emergency situations
  • manage the planning, scheduling & co-ordination of installation & PPM works
  • attend client meetings to develop long-term working relationships
  • provide technical input with regards to tenders & sales estimates, and support / manage the mobilisation of new contracts
  • manage day to day service delivery overseeing the provision of fire & security services including the design, installation and maintenance of varying systems including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, fire systems, public address, digital media & voice data systems
  • support engineers with and provide technical support, advice and guidance as needed

Requirements

  • proven technical experience and knowledge of the fire & security industry
  • ability to lead and develop a reliable and efficient team
  • strong literacy skills, with good spelling and grammar
  • team player
  • good communication and organisational skills
  • ability to multi-task
  • full driving licence
