Responsibility
- surface Generation was established 20 years ago to develop and commercialise the unique Production to Functional Specification process
- as part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Technician to work within our Production Team Department
- you will have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience covering wiring, diagnostics, assembly, or a similar skill set
- build test rigs, execute trials and test procedures to support projects
- mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- test/calibrate brought in parts and tools to ensure compliance
- maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all work in required formats
- working within the Aerospace, Automotive and Consumer Electronics sectors, this dynamic and rapidly growing, innovative business has developed game-changing technology, working with some of the world’s most prestigious blue chip engineering businesses
Requirements
- ability to read and understand wiring schematics, circuit diagrams, mechanical drawings, and instructions
- ability to use 3D CAD package to interrogate models /drawings
- excellent attention to detail and the logic to solve problems
- qualification to HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, e.g., automotive, mechanical or avionics with proven ability to work singularly and with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and suppliers
