  • confirming building plans with Architects, Engineers, and Surveyors
  • creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
  • assigning tasks to the various contractors and subcontractors
  • oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager and other members of the construction team
  • overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard
  • monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
  • negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • create status reports for project stakeholders
