Responsibility

  • sunnyside Nursing Home is a small family run nursing home for the elderly in Crossgates, Leeds
  • A basic knowledge of health and safety rules would be beneficial
  • should you be interested in exploring this role further please send a CV outlining your relevant experience and qualifications
  • following a review of the current maintenance resources we have identified a need for for an assistant for the current facility maintenance manager
  • this is a 'hand on role' and you will be expected to undertake most of the premises and equipment safety checks as well as basic repairs jobs including plumbing, electrical work, decoration and gardening
  • ideally you will of worked in a similar role in the care sector although candidates with relevant experience in other sectors including hotel, hospitality, property, building and the public sector will be considered
  • the role is currently part time although we can be flexible to suit a candidates preferred start and finish times around child care or other commitments should this be required
