Requirements

  • must have EYFS Level 3 and be working towards Outstanding levels of childcare provision at all times
  • relevant experience managing a busy and dynamic nursery or childcare setting
  • understand and implement the ethos and values of the nursery and maintain and raise standards at all times
  • fulfill recruitment needs for the nursery including forecasting staffing requirements
  • mentor, inspire and lead the team to provide continuous and consistent care and education in line with an Early Years setting
  • skills to manage a busy nursery and ensure the efficient implementation of Ofsted's Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework and all associated requirements
  • designated Safeguarding Lead responsibilities for the nursery to promote the health, safety and welfare of children, employees and families in line with child protection
