  • making sure that everything is set-up well for the day to day activities of the room to be carried out
  • ensuring the safety and well-being of the staff and children in your care
  • providing a safe, secure, caring and stimulating environment for the children
  • following guidance from your course and your room leader in regards to your responsibilities and the care of the children
  • engaging in care and play-activities throughout the day to nurture and help for the development and well-being of the children
  • working closely with managers and other nursery staff to create a positive environment in the nursery and to build close ties and relationships with parents and carers
