Responsibility

  • our Kitchen is a vibrant place to work and can get very busy. Having previous high-volume experience is essential
  • as Chef De Partie, the ability to ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times is vital
  • bustling family run restaurant in beautiful lakeside setting, looking for Chef De Partie or Sous Chef to fill the role in our busy kitchen
  • you must be passionate about producing high quality, fresh food whilst keeping up with the fast pace and volume
  • the Café by the Lake enjoys a great reputation and has a hugely loyal following due to the quality and consistency of our freshly prepared food and the relaxed ambience of our countryside setting, with cosy log burners in the winter and beautiful lakeside seating in the summer months
  • you must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team of Chefs
  • you must be flexible and have a positive and professional mindset with the ability to motivate others
  • cover for Head Chef absence
