Responsibility

  • production Supervisor
  • inspect and record the condition of equipment and utensils, reporting damage and suitability
  • to assist in the manufacture and packing of all food products produced by Summit Foods
  • operating machinery and equipment as required for the above activity
  • carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed
  • the supervision of designated operatives on and off the production/cooking line, and mixing room, ensuring they are punctual, efficient, and wearing the correct P.P.E
  • adhere to Health and Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • minimising wastage

Requirements

  • the ability to monitor and record quality and food safety performance where applicable
  • the ability to demonstrate the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety
  • the ability to comprehend and comply with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
