Responsibility
- establishing and developing an effective HR function to drive performance across the organisation

- providing advice and guidance to the leadership teams on all People related matters
- developing and implementing HR related policies and documents
- an exciting newly created opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join a successful engineering company based in Gateshead. With nearly 50 years of experience in machining and assembling components and systems, our client is a market leader
- providing advice and guidance on HR support, best practice and employment legislation to all stakeholders
- reporting to the HR Manager, the role has a generalist remit. The role will be based in Gateshead with the occasional travel to their site in Middlesbrough
- this role would suit an advisor who is looking to join a growing organisation or experienced HR Assistant or HR Coordinator who is looking for the next step and progression within HR
Requirements
- CIPD L5 qualified or studying towards
- solid, generalist experience within an HR Advisor or similar level HR role
- sound, up to date knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations hand on experience
- excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- experience of delivering HR projects and employee engagement activities
- experience of working with data and HR systems
