SUBSEA PRESSURE CONTROLS is looking for employees for positions:

mechanical engineer

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and systems for subsea equipment and Plug and Abandonment tools
  • produce manufacturing drawings and perform engineering calculations to ensure designs meet API specifications and industry standards
  • participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure designs are optimized for performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • utilize Finite Element Analysis and other analytical tools to verify design performance and identify areas for improvement
  • collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure designs are optimized for cost and manufacturability
  • work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians to develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and project goals

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • at least 1-year experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably with subsea engineering and plug and abandonment sectors
  • proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software
  • strong understanding of mechanical design principles and ability to perform hand calculations
  • knowledge of FEA and other analytical tools
  • experience with manufacturing processes and ability to produce manufacturing drawings
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • familiarity with industry standards and specifications, such as API 6A, API 17D, API 16A and API 17H
