Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and systems for subsea equipment and Plug and Abandonment tools
- produce manufacturing drawings and perform engineering calculations to ensure designs meet API specifications and industry standards
- participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure designs are optimized for performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- utilize Finite Element Analysis and other analytical tools to verify design performance and identify areas for improvement
- collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure designs are optimized for cost and manufacturability
- work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians to develop innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and project goals
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- at least 1-year experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably with subsea engineering and plug and abandonment sectors
- proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software
- strong understanding of mechanical design principles and ability to perform hand calculations
- knowledge of FEA and other analytical tools
- experience with manufacturing processes and ability to produce manufacturing drawings
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- familiarity with industry standards and specifications, such as API 6A, API 17D, API 16A and API 17H
