Responsibility
- provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair
- consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
- recommend appropriate hair care products and treatments to clients
- upsell salon services and retail products to enhance the client experience
- provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
- mentor and train junior stylists in the salon
- perform barbering services, such as beard trims and shaves
Requirements
- valid cosmetology or barbering license
- excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- proven ability to upsell salon services and retail products
- strong customer service skills to provide an exceptional salon experience
- experience in mentoring and training junior stylists is a plus
- proficiency in barbering techniques is a plus
- knowledge of store management tasks, such as inventory management and scheduling, is a plus
- experience in providing additional beauty services, such as eyelash extensions and makeup application, is a plus
