- our Client is a busy, and rapidly growing, sourcing company, operating in the mechanical engineering / manufacturing market sector
- they have recently opened an office in Vietnam and are growing their sourcing capability further into Southeast Asia
- as a result of this growth, They are looking to recruit a conscientious, hardworking individual to join our small, friendly team
- verifying and investigating customer quality and technical issues
- liaising with customers on engineering, quality and technical matters
- providing engineering and quality input to the sales function
- they specialise in sourcing and supplying bespoke mechanical components and sub assemblies, manufactured to drawing, to our customers in the UK and the US
Requirements
- experience in an engineering component / product manufacturing environment
- the ability to understand technical drawings, standards, specifications and engineering terminology
- familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, TS16149 etc
- knowledge of manufacturing process including machining, casting, fabrication, injection mould etc
- good attention detail and organisational skills
