- we are looking for an estimator and project manager for our growing property maintenance company. We are looking for someone with good customer service skills and demeanor as well as a good understanding of the trades industry
- you will be provided with an ipad for taking surveys and we a paperless company
- the role entails managing job leads that come in via marketing and lead selling websites, responding to them, arranging surveys, meeting with clients and providing good knowledge, advice on the job being surveyed and polite and respectful service to them
- as much as this is how we bring in work, this is not a sales position, we would rather someone represent our company with good advice for the potential customer rather than trying to get more money out of the customer unnecessarily
- you will be required to track all leads and surveys via our software, take photos, measurements, work out pricing for the job, create material lists, subcontractor requirements, book into the schedule and basically prepare for the job so that our team can execute it with as much preparation as possible
- we need someone with good experience and knowledge of the trades, so any experience in this industry is beneficial. If you have any previous experience doing pricing for other companies, that would also be beneficial
- this position is based in the Scottish Borders with a homebase of Galashiels where our workshop is and you are expected to travel around the area to visit the survey locations
