Responsibility
- stratosvir is an early stage biotech developing viral immunotherapy to treat cancer
- we are seeking a RESEARCH SCIENTIST
- the successful applicant will be working in a fast-paced environment and contribute to strategic research and development goals
- activities will include design and engineering of therapeutic viruses to carry a payload of immunotherapeutic drugs and to characterise their effects on cancer cells in vitro and in vivo
- the candidate must be a proactive, organised individual and possess a range of technical expertise and knowledge in cancer biology, immunology and/or virology
- we are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, can interact with a diverse group of scientific disciplines in an exciting work environment
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- A PhD in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology or Virology
- basic molecular biology skills
- competence in various tissue culture techniques
- expertise in development and execution of quantative cell-based assays
- experience in handling and growing of viruses
- proven track record of success in your research, including publications, patents, national conference presentations
- awareness of health and safety regulations in a laboratory environment
- molecular Biology: 1 year
