Responsibility
- develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations
- set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- select appropriate cutting tools and speeds for each job
- collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes
- perform materials handling, including packaging and unpackaging of parts
- use hand tools to assemble and fabricate components as needed
- maintain a clean and organized warehouse area
- perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- proficiency in ONECNC or similar CAD software
- previous experience operating CNC turning machines
- strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques
- proficiency in materials handling, including packaging and shipping
- experience with tooling selection and setup
- familiarity with hand tools and their proper use
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- knowledge of ONECNC or similar software for design and programming
