stratford Oaks Golf Club is a parkland, private members club located just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon
this is a role which is suited to individuals who are looking to start a career in the sports turf industry
other forms of education and professional development will be supported through various education events across the country
it is essential the candidates have a reasonable interest or understanding of golf
we are looking for motivated individuals who are self motivated and ambitious, to join our current team to prepare and maintain the golf course to a high standard on a daily basis
job tasks vary on a day to day basis, and the candidates must have the desire and enthusiasm to work outside, year round, in most weather conditions
the club is a forward thinking club, driven to keep improving all aspects of the business and has recently invested in a new fleet of machinery, upgrades to irrigation systems and has plans to continue improving the course and facilties in the short, medium and long term future
full training is provided and for the right candidate an apprenticeship will be offered where education will be provided on and off site to gain a recognised professional qualification in sports turf management through one of our industry recognised education partners
