- stratford Oaks Golf Club is a parkland, private members club located just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon
- this is a role which is suited to individuals who are looking to start a career in the sports turf industry
- other forms of education and professional development will be supported through various education events across the country
- it is essential the candidates have a reasonable interest or understanding of golf
- we are looking for motivated individuals who are self motivated and ambitious, to join our current team to prepare and maintain the golf course to a high standard on a daily basis
- job tasks vary on a day to day basis, and the candidates must have the desire and enthusiasm to work outside, year round, in most weather conditions
- the club is a forward thinking club, driven to keep improving all aspects of the business and has recently invested in a new fleet of machinery, upgrades to irrigation systems and has plans to continue improving the course and facilties in the short, medium and long term future
- full training is provided and for the right candidate an apprenticeship will be offered where education will be provided on and off site to gain a recognised professional qualification in sports turf management through one of our industry recognised education partners
