- extensive knowledge of embedded systems and their design
- firmware development for microcontrollers
- experience developing on resource constrained embedded systems, both Bare Metal and RTOS
- experience working to and evolving a QMS within a regulated environment, particularly medical
- familiar and comfortable using modern programming methods, including the use of SCM , CI/CD pipelines, TDD and build systems
- use of desktop Linux
- confident debugging firmware and systems on target hardware with lab tools
