Requirements

• extensive knowledge of embedded systems and their design
• firmware development for microcontrollers
• experience developing on resource constrained embedded systems, both Bare Metal and RTOS

• experience working to and evolving a QMS within a regulated environment, particularly medical
• familiar and comfortable using modern programming methods, including the use of SCM , CI/CD pipelines, TDD and build systems
• use of desktop Linux
• confident debugging firmware and systems on target hardware with lab tools
• python
• A basic understanding of electronic systems and the ability to read schematics
• experience deploying fleets of internet connected devices
• confident in making, discussing and documenting system design decisions
• experience developing/designing for and deploying to cloud services
• experienced working in a multidisciplinary team
• the ability to judge when to implement process and tooling around tasks
• medical device development: 5 years
• embedded software: 5 years
• help after sales support team with technical queries when required
• ability to self-start
• prepared to work within a regulated environment
