Responsibility
- to be responsible for the line management of the small Finance team
- to plan, manage and oversee the day-to-day work of the team, ensuring that all objectives and deadlines are met
- to ensure that any anomalies are investigated and resolved
- to prepare and submit the regulatory and annual returns as requested e.g., HMRC, and Companies House
- to prepare and update the cashflow forecast on a monthly basis
- to assist with the drafting of timely period end accounts including accruals and prepayments
- to ensure accuracy of the accounting records including completion of key Balance Sheet reconciliations, monitoring of control accounts and maintenance of fixed asset, debtors and creditors ledgers as well as the nominal ledger and preparing depreciation calculations
- to analyse reports, monitor expenditure and highlight actual and potential budget overspends
