- conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology
- prepare accurate survey drawings and reports, documenting findings and recommendations
- collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide essential data for project planning
- analyse survey data to calculate land boundaries and establish property lines
- ensure all surveying activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- maintain equipment and ensure it is calibrated for optimal performance
- assist in the training of junior staff or interns in surveying techniques and best practices
- communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress
- A degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred
- professional accreditation or licensure as a Land Surveyor is highly desirable
- proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS equipment, and levels
- strong analytical skills with attention to detail in data collection and interpretation
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
- previous experience in land surveying or a related field is an advantage but not essential for entry-level positions
