Responsibility

  • develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using PHP, MySQL, Apache Solr, AWS, and related technologies
  • write clean, well-designed, and maintainable code that is easy to understand and debug
  • troubleshoot and debug issues with existing applications
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to develop new features and improve existing ones
  • stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and integrate them into existing applications
  • ensure the scalability and performance of applications
  • work with other developers to ensure code consistency and adherence to development standards

Requirements

  • strong understanding of both procedural and object-oriented programming concepts
  • strong familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • experience with MySQL or other relational databases
  • degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
  • excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • experience with Python and / or LUA would be advantageous
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • experience with Apache Solr for search indexing and querying
