Responsibility

  • care based role requires majority of shifts to carry out senior care duties
  • ~ You may be asked to carry out other duties within the remit of the role
  • ~ Assist the Manager to review and maintain systems and procedures for auditing and assuring quality of care provided by the home
  • ~ Administer and order medicines as required by the home in accordance with the homes’ policies and procedures
  • ~ Ensure effective communication with residents, staff, relatives, and other healthcare professionals
  • ~ Ensure Manager and where appropriate Provider and Director are fully informed about the daily running of the home

Requirements

  • full training offered in the role of carer
  • annual Holiday Entitlement = 5.6 x Contracted hours
