Requirements
an experienced bookkeeper, ideally with a partial or full accountancy qualification
knowledge and use of an Accounting system – Preferably Data Developments and QuickBooks
experience of producing end of year group accounts under FRS 102
ability to analyse financial information
experience of Payroll management and Insurance
experience of a similar role within a charitable organisation, particularly in managing multiple restricted funds
knowledge of Human Resource Management
management: 3 years
Responsibility
income – Bank all income, enter into Accounting System
payments - Pay all bills and invoices, liaising with Suppliers, Staff and Members as required
management Accounts - Produce Monthly Management Accounts for Treasurer and Leaders
bookkeeping - Produce and maintain accurate Accounts on Accounting system and supporting documentation
the Finance Manager will be supported by the Church Treasurer in relation to direction and purpose
support Deacons - Review minutes and undertake any Action Points
regularly liaise with contacts via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
budgets - Produce budgets for Salaries and other areas as required, liaise with Treasurer re Budget for Church. Produce Monthly figures for Budget Holders as required
