Responsibility
- ensuring that pre-shift safety checks have been carried out and documented
- greasing and maintaining the machinery to the highest possible standard
- promptly ensuring any near-hits or potential safety breaches are reported to the site manager, if necessary
- supporting the day-to-day operation of the plant, assisting where required and instructed by management
- maintaining the cleanliness of the site to the highest standard possible
- manufacturing concrete interlocking blocks
- carrying out regular inspections to diagnose & identify any defects or potential defects within the plant machinery - submitting defect reports as appropriate
Requirements
- valid UK driving licence & transport
- telehandler CPCS/NPORS licence
- have a working knowledge of health & safety best practise
- enthusiasm for manual handling & good housekeeping standards
- dedication to meeting operational KPI's
- effective communicator at all levels
- ability to work as part of a team
- well organised - with emphasis on time management, punctuality, reliability & attention to detail
