Responsibility
- maximise sales from incoming enquiries through robust, consultative telephone sales technique
- offer advice to clients, where necessary, on colour schemes, fabrics and room layout
- manage time to schedule home visits to clients around geographical demand

- identify any potential opportunities to broaden the customer’s order and upsell
- manage the sales process through to a close, creating quotes and invoices in Xero for customers and taking payment
- you will have a considerable degree of autonomy to manage your sales pipeline to maximise revenue generated from customer enquiries
- this will be through a combination of telephone and face to face sales
- you will have a proven record of sales excellence and love the combination of dealing with people and hitting targets
- monitor pipeline and revenue progress, ensuring accurate reporting to leadership
- establish and manage the most suitable service and furniture range for each customer using the available resources
- on the job coaching and support of the Sales Consultants where necessary
- there is huge potential for the right candidate to develop the role and grow with the company
- liaise with Customer Care Executive to follow customer order from manufacture to delivery. Communicate any complications to the customer where necessary
- we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team selling our luxurious expanding range of sofas, chairs, beds, and homewares
- represent the Maker&Son brand through all communication with clients
- maximise use of CRM system by capturing all relevant customer data and keeping database up to date and accurate at all times
- in addition, you will be keen to join a dynamic, fast growing company where your hard work will make an immediate impact
Requirements
- at least 4 years’ experience in sales with proven ability to deliver revenue targets
- A passion for, and/or experience within the design, furniture and interiors industry
- active and perceptive listener able to pick up on what the client is and isn’t saying during sales calls/meetings

- A clean driving licence ; some experience of driving a small van would be helpful but is not essential
