Responsibility

  • work closely with key stakeholders across the business
  • hold existing suppliers to account on cost and delivery
  • facilitate supplier negotiations and control BoM costs
  • assist with the development of BoM’s and standardised product range
  • strategically source and establish new suppliers where appropriate
  • communicate lead times to the wider business
  • strategic alignment of the supply chain to the business’ growth targets
  • develop business cases for discussion with the board

Requirements

  • degree educated in any subject advantageous
  • postgrad or professional qualification essential e.g., CIPS
  • proven track record of being accountable across a variety of Purchasing roles related to a Manufacturing environment
  • cross functional stakeholder management
  • awareness of Printed Circuit Board or Surface Mount processes and supply chains
  • awareness of metal fabrication processes and supply chains
  • holistic ownership of SRM and KPI management
