Requirements

  • minimum 2 year experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • effective organisational skills
  • attention to detail and a high standard of work
  • proven ability and aptitude as an electrician
  • previously worked on distribution units and switch gear and knowledge of the construction industry is also desirable
  • city & Guilds 2360/2330 Parts 1&2 – or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – or equivalent
  • BS7671 17th Edition Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent is desirable but not essential

Responsibility

  • assembling and testing a wide range of electrical plant such as MDA and various switchgear and site temporary electrical products
  • comply with Company Health & Safety Policy including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy
  • must be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment. The candidate should be methodical, carrying out and supervising the throughput of a workshop which services industrial and contract customers. Salary depending on experience
