Responsibility
- operation of Steel Profile Framework machine
- working with coiled sheet metal
- perform daily maintenance and machine setup for production, as well as machine shutdowns at the end of the day
- basic machine troubleshooting – determining what is causing any operating errors and liaising with the maintenance engineer
- participate in manufacturer training on all machinery, and in-house, as applicable
- report all quality/design problems to the Production Supervisor
- ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with drawings and specifications
- ensure that all works are manufactured in accordance with quality systems and checks
Requirements
- previous experience as a Machine Operator or Roll Forming Machine Operator
- knowledge of working with sheet or coiled metal
- computer literate
- ability to comprehend technical drawings at a basic level
- high level of attention to detail
- strong team player
- ability to take direction and to ask questions if unsure
- machine operating: 1 year
