to be responsible for the resources, tools, parts and skills to effectively complete the necessary task and repairs
to be responsible for maintaining their company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, tidy and roadworthy at all times
to be responsible for maintaining and replenishing van stock comprising of high usage fast moving parts
to carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs to our client`s commercial and retail product within the response times in accordance with agreed Service Levels and health and Safety requirements
to utilise effective time management skills to balance priority to key accounts and service contract customers, whilst maintaining the most economical route
to accurately close down jobs, providing repair data, serial numbers and parts used in a timely manner to enable effective follow up work to take place as necessary
to be able to recommend new/refurbished equipment at the point where a machine is not repairable and to ensure that the lead is passed onto the Sales Department for conversion into a sale
Requirements
experience of repairing and/or servicing fitness equipment, in particular knowledge of Precor, Life, Technogym products
effective communication skills are essential in this customer facing role, as is experience of dealing with customers in a pressurised environment
must be able to work on your own or as part of a team
must be PC literate
A full UK driver`s licence
work Remotely
previous experience of working in a repair or service engineer role or similar with a background in electrical and/or mechanical repair work is ideal

to assist in the assembly of fitness equipment as per the manufacturing schedule
to problem solve around faults and identify fixes as appropriate
to work with the Inventory department to ensure that there are the parts required to do the job
to work with the Inventory department to ensure that any defective machines/parts are identified
to ensure that all finished products are packed and labelled appropriately
to complete all workshop paperwork to the required standard
to ensure that all assembly tools are fit for purpose and properly maintained, liaising with management on any issues
to ensure conformance with all health and safety requirements
Requirements
able to put basic mechanical and electrical components together from simple drawings in terms of sub assemblies and assemblies
have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components
be able to use workshop tools competently
knowledge of commercial paint spraying and pre-paint preparation of materials would be advantageous
