Responsibility
- always act in the best interests of all residents maintaining and improving their well being by implementing the principles of Person-Centred Care
- to be a point of contact for the resident and family to discuss day to day issues of living in the Home
- to support the manager in introducing a new resident to the Home, helping the resident and their family to settle in and completing any necessary paperwork
- to work with the resident, family and manager to develop and review the Person-Centred Care Plan including the Life History and other statutory documentation
- in the absence of the manager or deputy to take responsibility as senior carer in providing support for all residents and enforcing policies and procedures laid down by management
- 17. To undertake any reasonable request from management, area manager or the homes board of directors
- 19. To undertake on call duties when requested to by management
- in the absence of the manager or deputy being the nominated First Aider, and act in the best interests of the injured person, seeking advice from the on-call manager if necessary
