Responsibility

  • oversee the compassionate and personalised care to residents and provide assistance
  • administer medication as per instructions to residents if required, including monitoring stock, re-ordering and checking in where necessary
  • st Serfs urgently requires a Senior Carer on a full and part time basis
  • our ideal candidate will have proven experience within care and be flexible to work various early morning to late evening shifts
  • you will have experience in medication administration to residents
  • you must be compassionate, friendly, hard-working, and eager to continue learning while putting our residents needs first

  • experience is essential in a similar role is required with an opportunity expand your qualifications via SVQ training at Level 7 and above

Requirements

  • previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a similar environment or role
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead and supervise a team, including addressing performance concerns if necessary
  • compassionate and driven to provide person centred care, and a positive work environment for your team
  • risk assessment and the initiative to recognise where there is risk and how to manage or minimise this

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent
