Responsibility

  • it is an early morning start, but you will be finished by mid-morning/lunchtime
  • you will be required to load and unload your own van from delivery sheets, deliver invoices and collect payments
  • you need to be cheerful and polite to customers, show initiative and have an understanding of our business
  • you need to be fit and healthy and be able to work outdoors in all weathers
  • these two positions have come about due to an internal restructuring. The two posts can either be one full time post and one part time, or two part time depending on the applicants
  • you need to be able to lift and carry crates of milk into customers' premises and where appropriate stock their fridges
  • the position involves driving 3.5 t vans around East and North Yorkshire delivering our own dairy products to shops, cafes, hotels, care homes, etc
  • we have a dairy farm and process and bottle all our own milk which we deliver alongside bread, orange juice and other perishable products
