  • the post-holder will predominantly be responsible for day to day care of the Inpatient Unit working within the hospice multi-disciplinary team
  • in-patient care
  • assessment and symptom management for in-patients admitted for symptom control, respite, or end of life care
  • day-to-day medical support to the Inpatient Unit communicating regularly and effectively with the multidisciplinary team
  • there will also be opportunities to work with the community palliative care team, assessing patients at home and in the outpatient setting
