the post-holder will predominantly be responsible for day to day care of the Inpatient Unit working within the hospice multi-disciplinary team
in-patient care
assessment and symptom management for in-patients admitted for symptom control, respite, or end of life care
day-to-day medical support to the Inpatient Unit communicating regularly and effectively with the multidisciplinary team
there will also be opportunities to work with the community palliative care team, assessing patients at home and in the outpatient setting
to attend the daily ward handover and multi-disciplinary meetings as required
there are opportunities for education for hospice staff and clinical visitors. There is full access to investigations though the local hospital, including clinical imaging
