Responsibility

  • undertake such other duties as the Headteacher from time to time may direct
  • ensure that health and safety protocols are followed
  • provide technical support to teaching staff in the Science Faculty
  • provide training and guidance for Science Technicians as required
  • oversee the maintenance and storage of stock and equipment in the Science Faculty
  • deal with the administration involved in ordering stock and equipment
  • managing the consumables budget ensuring that spending is within budget
  • the post demands a degree of flexibility from the candidate to be able to, with prior notice and planning, to work late evenings/one to two days during school holidays to assist with Open Evenings
