Responsibility
- we are looking for an experienced Conferencing and Events Manager to lead our professional, dedicated in-house team
- you will be an experienced event organiser, particularly with high level events and summer schools
- organised and creative with exceptional attention to detail, you will work well under pressure
- you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Conference and Events Office, including staffing, financial management and reporting
- you will be actively involved with all aspects of events management, with a focus on strategy and operational management
- you will be responsible for working with a variety of clients, delivering a wide range of events from summer schools and conferences to VIP events and parties, working with colleagues across the University
- you will be representing the University at a wide range of events and are expected to present yourself accordingly
- you will have an understanding of the networks and contexts within which the University operates and how events can develop and maintain these networks
