Responsibility

  • POST : Housekeeper to cover sickness and holidays
  • ensure allocated areas are checked for any health and safety hazards and any deficits in equipment or fabric in the home e.g. breakages, fused light bulbs etc are reported immediately to person in charge
  • carry out schedule of cleaning/housekeeping of their allocated area when on duty
  • high standards of Cleanliness and Tidiness is maintained at all times
  • in conjunction with other members of staff, ensure that good communication channels between residents, relatives and visitors are maintained
  • attend staff meetings as required
  • to perform other duties not listed, form time to time as directed
  • ensure vacuum cleaner in good order – change bags, clean tubes, maintain clean head
