  • we have an exciting opportunity for a Administrator to join our team, based in London
  • you will be working on a part-time, temporary basis until 31st December 2023 initially
  • in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £27,000- 29,000 pa pro rata
  • overseeing the maintenance and development of St Luke’s membership system, assist with updating volunteer handbooks and policies and data inputting
  • assisting the delivery of St Luke’s community outreach programme identifying isolated people living locally and promoting activities and support
  • maintaining manual and computer based records creating efficient and appropriate systems for managing personal data
  • providing effective, professional and confident administrative support to the Services Team ensuring the smooth running of services, events and activities delivered from St Luke’s and the local neighbourhood
  • overseeing and assisting in the upkeep of the facilities and equipment by reporting defects or issues as necessary

  • we have an exciting opportunity for a Minibus Driver / Helping Hands Assistant to join our team, based in London
  • you will be working on a full-time permanent basis
  • in return, will receive a competitive salary of £26,000- £28,000 per annum
  • driving a vehicle in order to safely transport older members with disabilities and/or limited mobility from and to their homes
  • being the sole person responsible for assisting passengers on and off the mini bus, safely managing their mobility aids and accompanying them to their front doors after taking an initial, and regular, risk assessment
  • carrying out and record safety checks on the vehicle each morning to ensure it is road worthy and fit for purpose and arrange repairs and servicing at appropriate times
  • assisting with delivering a programme of games/entertainment/ socialising/ outings etc, involving local partners as appropriate, ensuring transport users can stay active and connected in the community
  • having day-to-day contact with transport users and older members on site to provide support and encourage them to take part in activities and to conduct wellbeing phone calls other older members on our database

Requirements

  • experience of driving a minibus or larger vehicle regularly
  • A full UK driving licence and extensive inner London driving
  • A ‘people person’ with the ability to communicate effectively with older/isolated people, carers and other professionals
  • the ability to provide practical and emotional support to older/isolated people and refer effectively as needed
  • the ability to adapt, plan and organise own workload, working individually and as part of a team
  • A “First Aid at Work” qualification or willing to train

catering manager
