Responsibility
- delivering clinical services, care planning, reviewing and assessing all aspects of clinical care
- ensuring that a customer service focus is applied to all clinical care and service delivery
- providing safe and effective clinical care that is derived from evidence-based practice and in line with scope of practice
- providing leadership, supervision and coaching to the Enrolled Nurses and Assistant in Nursing staff at the facility
Requirements
- they will be familiar with the applications and particulars of the aged care act and aged care quality standards
- they will also be familiar with managing challenging behaviours, particularly in people who are living with dementia
- our Registered Nurses provide a high level of leadership to the facility, including conflict resolution, supervision and striving for continuous improvement
- the ideal candidates will have significant experience working within residential aged care facilities, and an understanding of the needs of consumers who are residing in or transitioning to residential aged care
