  • full responsibility of all catering personnel on site inclusive of training, rostering and HR issues
  • the overall management and running of the catering service at the assigned company/client site on behalf of Five Sisters Managed Services Ltd
  • ensure all catering operations are run in accordance with and meet or exceed agreed set company/client service level agreement, agreed KPi’s and company policy and procedures
  • 4.4 Attend meetings with company managers/directors to discuss and evaluate the future direction of the site catering service

  • 6.6 Ensure that all financial weekly and monthly bookwork is completed on time as set by monthly calendar dates that allows for timely reporting to head office

Responsibility

  • the Cook shares responsibility for the safe and quality production of food and services within the contracted Catering department by carrying out duties in the central production kitchen, restaurant/caf, and ward kitchens
  • these duties include production of fresh foods, cleaning of premises and equipment, pre-preparation of food items prior to service, and to prepare cooked meals for in-patients at lunch and supper
  • the Mission and Core Values are an integral part of all job descriptions, the probationary period and performance and development reviews
  • no one, however when on duty, the Cook is responsible for performing the activities listed here with minimal supervision. At times, the cook supervises the work of catering assistants and kitchen porters
