ST. JOSEPH'S DAY NURSERY is looking for employees for positions:

deputy nursery manager

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • support the nursery manager to maintain and care for the nursery on a day to day basis
  • this includes completing risk assessments and ensuring an enabling and stimulating environment for our little ones
  • ensuring our nursery meets high standards at all times
  • to work based within a room and support the learning and development of the children within that room
  • support the manager to oversee the rooms and support staff within the rooms with there day to day activities
  • support our nursery manager and administrator with office work
  • have good parental partnerships and ability to deal with difficult conversations
  • ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures within our setting are being adhered to

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • must be able to pass a background check
  • ability to use initiative and work within a busy environment
  • organisation skills and ability to delegate appropriately
  • excellent understanding of the EYFS
  • nursery: 1 year
  • leadership: 1 year
