Responsibility

  • CARETAKER required full-time at St John’s Winchester to join our small in-house maintenance team overseen by our Facilities Manager
  • duties will be to provide a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the almshouses
  • to help maintain the quality of service to the Charity’s residents, adhere to the Charity’s vision and values
  • this role is subject to DBS disclosure
  • applicants must have cleaning skills, good communication skills, a full driving licence, knowledge and understanding of COSHH requirements and experience in a previous similar role in caretaking
  • hours : 08.30 to 16.00 Monday to Friday, not including 30 minute break
  • holiday : 4 weeks per calendar year rising to 5 weeks after five years' service
