- current HCPC registration
- degree in Speech & Language Therapy
- full Membership of Royal college of Speech and Language Therapists
- experience of working within stroke care/neurological rehabilitation
- evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development
- experience of working in the community setting
- post graduate training / qualification in adult acquired dysphagia
- evidence of multi-disciplinary/ inter-agency working
Responsibility
- be responsible as an independent autonomous practitioner to undertake a significant and complex clinical caseload. Caseload management will include prioritisation and contributing to assessment of new referrals within 72 hours
- attend and contribute to in-service training programme and team meetings
- monitor current service provision and report performance against agreed key indicators
- organise location, hospitality and materials for training
