project accountant
Requirements
- project Accounting
- revenue Forecasting
- revenue Recognition
- currently studying or keen to commence CIMA/ACCA
- project accounting experience is advantageous
- understanding of percent complete revenue recognition
- proficient in MS Office
- microsoft Dynamics AXR2 /R3ERP system experience advantageous
Responsibility
- project accounting activities including support of job set up, invoicing, and the monthend close process
- maintain monthly operating reports, project review meetings, and special projects as requested
- report financial data and provide updates on unbilled projects
- participate in job reviews with the project management team, update and communicate project budgets and estimated time / cost to completion
- drive required account reconciliations
- manage monthly WIP reports to ensure proper revenue recognition
- enter/Submit new job information and change orders as required to revenue forecasting documents
- maintain project documents on network shared drive as required
