Responsibility
- perform general gardening duties including planting, weeding, pruning, and mulching to maintain the health of plants and flowers
- utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks
- conduct regular groundskeeping activities to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of garden areas
- irrigate plants appropriately, ensuring that they receive the right amount of water for optimal growth
- assist in landscape maintenance projects such as installing new plants or features within the garden
- monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases, taking appropriate action when necessary
- collaborate with team members to plan and execute seasonal planting schemes and garden designs
Requirements
- previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key
- familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening is advantageous
- knowledge of plant care, including growing techniques and irrigation methods, will be beneficial
- strong attention to detail and a passion for working outdoors are essential traits for success in this role
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills
