- 5 years bookkeeping experience
- 6 years bookkeeping experience
- AAT Qualified or Qualified by experience
- at least 2 years' experience within an Accountancy Practice is required
- excellent customer Service Skills
- experience in a similar Bookkeeping / Accounts Assistant role
- experience working within an accountancy practice
- must have experience working within an Accountancy Practice
- AAT Level 4
- experience of working within an Accountancy Firm is essential
- experience with Xero and cloud software is highly desirable
- ability to prioritise own workload and work well under pressure
- ability to work solely with minimum supervision
- AAT Bookkeeping qualifications, or working towards ACCA would be great, but not a requirement
- A personable, customer driven, people person
- must be able to work as part of a team and be able to work on their own
- management Accounts preparation experience is desirable
- excellent time keeping and attendance
- experience supporting/training junior members of staff is desirable
- have a positive can-do attitude
- experience in practice is desierable
- have a passion to go the extra mile to support client queries
- good understanding of Tax Digital
- bookkeeping and VAT returns experience is essential
