Responsibility

• A new full time Security Officer position has become available in Featherstone for a committed and reliable Officer
• the candidate must be experienced in working in the Security Industry and possess a valid SIA Security/Door Supervisor Licence

• we have a full time position for a security officer based near the city centre
• \* Ensuring you provide excellent customer service to all customers and site management
• the ideal candidate will be experienced, committed, professional, and reliable
• the company offers a variety of different roles working within our current contract, which includes
• the position is one that will commence as soon as possible and will involve being based Full Time at several of our key and established sites
• \* Preventing damage or destruction to property
• you should have experience and knowledge of working within the Security sector, however all training will be provided
• site Security roles such as
• \* Access and Egress
• these duties will involve working a combination of nights and day duties throughout the week and will be vitally important to ensure the team and fellow officers are supported by the new candidate
• patrolling

• you must be able to make your own way to the sites, often in unsociable hours and we aim to develop and provide full time employment for the candidate in return for a committed, reliable and highly professional Security Officer
• \* Customer care
• CCTV Operation
• we have numerous vacancies available for both Full Time and Part Time roles on a large site in the City of Lincoln centre and surrounding areas
• \* Checking of deliveries on and off site

• you will be working alongside an established team of officers Monday - Friday - Office hours. You will also be expected to work alternative Saturday day shift also

• duties will include but are not limited to
• \* Taking messages accurately and relaying back to management
• office Administration
• \* Ability to follow instructions
• ensuring all incidents are dealt with, reported and logged in accordance with Security SOP’s
• you must be able to work well as part of a team, be willing to learn from others, have a proactive attitude towards tasks and be ready to take on new challenges
• access control systems
• ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and tidy and refuelled as appropriate
• \* Complete all paperwork accurately and professionally
• although this is primarily a Security role, the emphasis is very much on customer care, welfare, and the needs of the client
• within the Security umbrella we also operate a full complement of Post Room and Porter services
• this is no ordinary role and as such we are looking for experienced people who are up for a challenge and can help improve the services we offer our clients
• carrying out Locking and unlocking of premises
• duties on the sites vary slightly, however they all include protecting the sites, working in a team and ensuring that all requests are fulfilled. There will also be some light cleaning duties to carry out on site also
• respond to incidents and alarms across all sites

Requirements

• security: 5 years
• front line Security: 3 years

Responsibility

• to proactively monitor CCTV for the prevention of crime and to ensure the Health and Safety of staff and visitors
• to efficiently respond to alarms on the access control system and dispatch officers in response to case alarms
• to dispatch initial first aid response immediately and find cover for must-man positions as a result

• to co-ordinate the logging and storage of high value lost property
• to manage the issue high risk keys and fobs and keys held
• to dispatch officers to investigate fire alarm activations
• to support with helping to find cover for core shifts, events and non-core additional cover
• to support the induction of new starters to the team
• to ensure a record of events is kept during an incident
• to escalate all accidents to the Duty Shift Manager involving SPS staff
• to report faults to the relevant contractor where an urgent response is required
• to update the staff and operations logs when required
• any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management
• to audit all keys daily
• to ensure that your SIA Licence is on display at all times while at work

Requirements

• SIA Door licence
• SIA CCTV licence
