  • complying with health-and-safety procedures at all times, and raising any and all safety or health related concerns that you have

Requirements

  • discussing and understanding job specifications
  • being able to read, understand, interpret and create technical drawings and specifications
  • possessing a working knowledge of Solidworks and TurboCAD
  • determining the tools and attachments needed in order to complete individual CNC jobs according to the specifications provided
  • mounting the necessary tools and attachments to the machine
  • programming the CNC machine, overseeing the cutting process and making any necessary adjustments during the CNC process
  • inspecting finished items for accuracy, uniformity and quality
  • being able to work to strict deadlines
