lead developer
Responsibility
- capable of and ultimately Responsible for leading a team of 3-8 developers
- responsible for analysis of current programmes including performance diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues
- provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems
- analyse system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for team
- provide guidance to all members of the team and mentoring where required
- responsible for performing proof-of-concepts where applicable
- research and recommend software tools to management depending on business needs
- liaise with architects, analysts, business representatives, infrastructure specialists to jointly develop proposals for technical solutions including implementation deployment, support and troubleshooting overviews
Requirements
- A proven track record of delivering quality solutions with a robust technical design for the enterprise
- experience of CI/CD
- expert knowledge of Java and open source software
- strong working knowledge of web services including REST, JSON, Soap etc
- strong front end development skills including with XHTML; CSS; JavaScript
- advanced knowledge of SQL, preferably with Oracle databases
- agile development
- 10+ years Development/Design/Lead experience
