- strong CAD skills in any software. Solidworks/Creo preferred but others are acceptable
- ability to produce technical drawings to a standard sufficient for manufacture
- an efficient and fast work pace with the ability to think of ideas and produce them quickly
- A basic knowledge of construction and carpentry to produce viable designs
- A willingness to get hands on and prototype for proof of concepts
- the ability to visualize and present concepts to clients and project managers
