Requirements

  • 5 years experience within the trade preferred, however, not essential
  • experience in training apprentices and conducting appraisals preferred, however, not essential
  • must be process-driven with excellent time management skills
  • must have a methodical approach to work and an eye for detail
  • clean and presentable
  • first aid qualified / willing to take course
  • willing to share best practice
  • A clean full UK driver’s licence

Responsibility

  • we are looking to employ a highly-skilled Bench Joiner to join our factory team
  • attention to detail is paramount and the successful candidate must be able to work within to clean and structured factory environment
  • site installation experience of the joinery you would have manufactured is also beneficial
  • must be able to competently follow and understand technical drawings
  • during busy periods the candidate may be required to work extra hours
  • the successful candidate will need to be capable of working to a high standard and be willing to share knowledge and train apprentices
  • duties will include all aspects of cabinet making/ Staircase construction/ window and door assembly, along with any other relevant duties as required
